Fairy Wings for Kids

The Fairy wings I'm going to describe making here are for small children.  You can make bigger wings by only adding two more metal hangers.

Supplies Needed:

• Two Wire Coat Hangers
• Masking Tape or Duct Tape
• Heavy Nylon Stockings (Pick the color according to you costume for example pick white for an Angel
• Big Safety Pin

Step 1 - Take the two metal coat hangers and fasten them together.  Fasten the ends that hang on the rod in the closet.  Use the masking tape or duct tape to fasten them together.  Make sure to cover any sharp areas.  Bend the parts that you hang your clothes on to the form you want your winks to look like.

Step 2 - Cut the legs of the nylon stocking you picked out.  Cover each hanger with one stocking leg.

Step 3 - Tie the two stocking legs together in the middle of the Fairy wings.  Use the giant safety pin to attach to your costume.

You can glue feathers on the wings to make a really pretty Angels wings.  Use colors to put different patterns on the Fairy wings.

You can even use sparkles on the Fairy wings by taking glue and brushing it on the wings and then sprinkling the sparkles on it.

Set you imagination free and start designing away.
